The group was formed on 23rd June 1959. Since that day it has performed through all the country, including performances for the different channels of the national TV. It has also been abroad, namely in Spain, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Lithuania, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Ucrânia and Brazil. In these countries the group has participated in many festivals including some of CIOFF organization. It has also participated in TV programmes in different countries.
